What to Dip in Boat Dip

Boat dip is perfect for dipping all your savory favorites. Thanks to its cool creaminess and Southwest flair. Here are some of our favorite dippers:

  • Potato chips
  • Tortilla chips
  • Fritos scoops
  • Doritos
  • Pita chips
  • Pretzels
  • Pretzel rods
  • Hard breadsticks
  • Vegetable sticks of all kinds
  • Broccoli
  • Cauliflower

How to Store Boat Dip

Refrigerate boat dip for 3-4 days in an air-tight container. We love these glass containers with locking lids for storing all of our dips!

We do not recommend freezing Boat dip. It will break, become grainy and the creamy texture will be lost.

Tips for Making Boat Dip

  • Drain your Rotel tomatoes very well so you don’t have watery dip.
  • You can adjust the spice level of this dip by using mild, medium, or hot taco seasoning. For extra spice, consider adding sliced jalapenos!
  • Mild, medium or sharp cheddar cheese both work well, so feel free to use either one.
  • Chill this dip for a couple of hours before serving, or even overnight, to allow the flavors to meld together well.
  • This dip is customizable! Add a can of corn or sliced black olives…whatever you’re craving.
