avocados, Hass preferred

shallot, finely diced

cilantro, finely chopped

jalapeno pepper, deseeded and finely diced
save some seeds for added heat

lime, juiced

freshly ground pepper
Instructions
Cut the avocados in half, remove the pits and spoon out the flesh from each half into a medium bowl.
Mash with a fork until mostly smooth but still slightly chunky and textured.
Add the remaining shallots, cilantro, jalapeno, lime, salt, and black pepper. Stir until well combined.
Taste and adjust seasonings as desired.
Serve with tortilla chips, pita chips, tacos, nachos, a variety of vegetables or your favorite dippers. Enjoy!
